Ghost Adventures: The Bird Cage Theater

I’ve seen the Ghost Hunter group go to this place and some of the things I’m seeing tonight with the Ghost Adventures Crew is even more interesting. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer of the paranormal, stuff that’s unexplainable always fascinates me. Definitely two different approaches from two different groups, but both equally entertaining in their own ways. The guys of Ghost Adventures crack me up more though because there’s only three of them, and when they’re cursing left and right or reacting to what’s going around them—it makes it all the more funnier.

Anyway, this is where I’m going to leave you guys. Hope y’all are having a safe and fun weekend this 4th of July (if you’re celebrating).

Squirrel Eats Lemon

Filed Under [ Animals, Cute, Sports, Videos ]

Look! I’m posting something other than tennis. I saw this on Dlisted.com (that site totally rots your brain on celeb news), but I love some of the random videos posted on there. Here’s a squirrel who likes to eat lemons like I do. Enjoy!

In tennis-related news, Roger wins against Ivo Karlovic, Novak Djokovic loses to Tommy Haas. Murray played well yesterday.

Ivo Karlovic plays against No. 2 player, Roger Federer. Go, Roger! And I was starting to like Novak. Darn!

I Finally Got the Shots I Wanted

Filed Under [ Animals, Cute, Photography ]

These are a couple pictures of some of the rabbits found around my neighborhood. This baby spotted my sister and I out on a walk and it hunched down hoping I wouldn’t spot it. I was surprised how it didn’t run off after I did the best Jeff Corwin or Steve Irwin attempt to get close to these animals. The parent wasn’t too far off from it and I didn’t bother the little one when I approached and left it in its spot on the grass. I pretty close, if I moved two more steps—I probably could’ve pet it.

Accidentally took its photo with the flash on. Second shot without flash.

Busy

Filed Under [ Sports, Television ]

This is probably going to be the last post I do for now. I’ve just been busy and swamped at the moment with some things that are coming up. I will still respond to people’s comments, visit the daily sites, and may blog every now and again. I’ve had a lot of posts lately about Roger Federer’s tennis matches. And today he won against his French Open Finals rival, Robin Soderling. The gentlemen both played well, and it was a hard one to watch. Also, the losses that went through all week (Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Billy Mays [infomercials])—may they rest in peace.

On a lighter note, the guys of Ghost Adventures are looking for bloggers. I’d totally do it, I love watching the show on Friday nights.  I love it when Aaron reacts and starts freaking out with “OMG! OMG!” —my sister hates it when I bring up Dev Parade’s, “Bacchikoi” into the mix.

NetJets & Nike Roger Federer Commercial

Filed Under [ Television, Videos, Youtube ]

I saw this commercial for the first time yesterday when I saw parts of the ladies tennis match and I thought it was funny. Partly because of the two guys’ facial expressions after Roger Federer drags a cart full of his trophies. I mean really, the more trophies he wins—and judging from the way he’s dragging the cart—it’s possible if it were just him and the pilots on the plane and no one else. Anyone know how much those babies weigh?

This second one—at first glance at the “coach” on television I thought it was David Thewlis (3rd HP movie). But then when the “coach” guy shows up—well, never mind. His face alone though just kind of came out of nowhere LOL.

Rafael Nadal needs some commercials like these. Better yet, put the two men in the commercial and put in some funnies with it. It’d be interesting.

Wimbledon Championships Today

Today was the opening day of the Wimbledon Championships and there were lots of wins and losses. Everyone’s favorite, Roger Federer beat his opponent Yen-Hsun Lu at the Men’s Singles rounding out at: 7-5, 6-3, 6-2. Maria Sharapova, having had shoulder injury in the past, also won her match against Viktoriya Kutuzova . Novak Djokovic (my mom’s favorite—mostly for his antics) defeated Julien Betteneau of France. Some of today’s losing players include James Blake (def. by ), Neuza Silva (def. by Serena Williams).

Other things mentioned today was the issue of women players being vocal when playing—over-screaming when hitting the ball. Personally, it’s been some time that this has gone on and no one cared, now people believe it to be a habit and people are turned off by the “force-of-habit” by some of the biggest players.

Illustrator Tutorial Section Added

I’ve added a new tutorial section covering Adobe Illustrator. Currently the conveyed material is text-based and examples will be added to it soon. Graphic designers familiar with this software can create some of the most mind-blowing designs, graphics, and text using vector-based images.

Vector art is where it’s at

Nadal Withdraws from Championships

On the Wimbledon.com site, Rafael Nadal gave a press conference saying that he will be withdrawing from the Championships due to injury. It really sucks that there won’t be a possible rematch between him and Roger Federer who just recently won the French Open for the first time, completing a career grand slam. Hopefully next year, Nadal will come back in better condition and there will be plenty of other opportunities. He does regret knowing that this was one of the most difficult decisions he’s had to make about defending this title.
