NEW

While I may not have my new layout still — I do have some things that I’ve added: a new joined fanlisting (Across the Time) which can be found in the Music section of my fanlisting collective; I’ve put my Doll-Doll back up. Hopefully soon, I’ll have everything up and running like it should.

White Collar at Comic Con 2010

I just started getting into the show (White Collar)—and I’m sure there was a marathon of season one sometime before season two started—but, that’s usually me! I forget. Here are the guys—Tim DeKay (FBI Agent Peter Burke) and Matt Bomer (Neal Caffrey) at Comic Con 2010 in San Diego, CA with a young fan dancing to Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” on Just Dance 2, on the Nintendo Wii game system. Although I have to admit, little boy being called, “Russell” in the video, doesn’t look too thrilled playing along with the guys. I don’t care if he’s being bumped up a bit by them—I’d have fun either way, if I were him…it’s just a game! And you’re surrounded by two of the most coolest guys on television right now :) Who cares! Have fun and be glad to have your moment in the spotlight and have your 15-minutes of fame while it lasts. Most entertaining and cute video I’ve seen today. Way to go, guys!

Jerseylicious

Style Network‘s show, Jerseylicious, made its debut on E! last Friday at 9PM ET/PT. Usually reality shows like these don’t mean much to me—I’m talking to you, The Jersey Shore, but for some reason I like this one. Maybe it’s all about the hair? That accent? The attitudes or what, but I can’t help but watch even more and I can’t wait to watch tonight.

Animal Crossing: City Folk

I know it’s been some time since I’ve made my last post; I’m not abandoning my blog, just experimenting with code lately and playing my latest addiction. The first time I saw this game, I really didn’t want to have anything to do with it because I thought it was just weird and I already had Harvest Moon to work with. So I let Animal Crossing just slide me by without giving it much thought. Well, this one girl I met told me about it and how she’s played the DS version — Animal Crossing: Wild World for some time now and I couldn’t resist. I love the fact that it does use real-time and the fact that you can get stung by bees or get sick is an added bonus to the craziness LOL!

Another feature available on the Nintendo Wii is Wii Speak, which comes with Animal Crossing: City Folk. So if you’re playing with friends and want to travel to another town, you can schedule through Wii Speak and go from there. But you’d have to speak with Booker in the Town Gate to access the Nintendo WiFi. Animal Crossing: City Folk also let’s you upload some of your content from Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands

I’ve been playing this game for some time now and have recently picked it up for game play again. I left off on Fall, Year 2. As far as hearts are concerned, I’ve got Pierre (7) and Will (8), while the others are still well-below 5 hearts. It’s kind of a daunting task having to raise their heart levels so I cheat my way through every now and then and try to find the quickest possible way to raise them. It probably feels daunting because the game is pretty repetitive in fashion; you’re at a location, raise animals, grow crops, fix the problem. And as repetitive it may be—I always buy into playing the game. I’ve yet to try out Animal Parade on the Wii, but it’s Harvest Moon—and it feels like I’m getting bored with the basic concept.  I’ve ranted enough, so here’s one site I found to be useful if you’re playing this one: Ushi no Tane.

I also like to see what other cut scenes there are between the other rivals, bachelor(ette)s, and locals in the game.  You can view them here on YouTube  if you’re interested: Genius Sakura.

Little Big Planet 2

OMG! The first time I heard about this rumor, I thought it would be impossible and pointless to make a second Little Big Planet game and was I wrong! I’ve seen the trailer to the second game and it looks promising and even better than the original. I’m a sucker for cute characters and cute add-on’s (I like the little robots following him at the 0:52 mark)—they’re just so-darn-cute! I love playing some of the online levels people make. And now there’s more features—I’d love to see what everyone come up with. Honestly, I’ve not made a level myself (mostly because I always seem to have a creative block but I do play my sister’s offline levels she’s made and some of them make me laugh). Anyone else playing Little Big Planet 2 when it comes out? You can check out the trailer on their official site or here from their official YouTube Channel. Also, LBP fans, make sure to keep your eye on more news around the Web.

Utter Nonsense

I remember when Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends came out. At first I thought the show would be really stupid just because I didn’t find the first episode to be all that funny, then when the show was on regularly and I’d sit down to watch some of the episodes with my sister—I loved the inside jokes and references the show made. I particularly liked the “Orlando Bloo” episodes and the ones with Cheese. He was probably the most funniest and most random one on the show; I’m sure some people probably found him annoying at times, but I thought he was a riot. Mac Daddy will be always be my favorite episode and this game online is one of my faves based off the series.

The whole point of Utter Nonsense is to copy the expressions Cheese says and to mimic it as best as possible. If you miss three times, the game ends and wants you to try again. If you pass—or barely pass each one, the game can go on for a bit. Some expressions do become repetitive, but the random ones that come up are the ones I love best. This “song” has several variations in the game if you’re lucky enough to come across it, but this one’s just as funny:

Requirements to play this game: Microphone and Flash.

Barthandelus, We Meet Again

Yet again, I’m having to fight this narcissistic old bat and as always I’m having to do my strategy all over again when some of these methods just fail me! I can’t believe how many times this guy shows up in this game—and the sound of his voice after each form just gets more and more annoying. I cannot wait to finish this game and get it out of the way. I’d rather be playing something else already—Professor Layton 3, hurry up and make yourself available already.

Also, I looked on the Game Stop website and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep doesn’t pre-ship until December 31, 2010; I’ve seen comments on YouTube saying the game could be available by summer. We’ll either way, Final Fantasy XIII needs to get done already. I’m tired of it already (parts of it).
