The Legendary Starfy

The Nintendo DS game is out, but what I don’t get is why they went with the name ‘Starfy’ instead of Stafy like they did in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Assist Trophies). I’m pretty sure he retained his Japanese name in Brawl because of the way it’s spelled out, but is it to cause less confusion for U.S. consumers? Personally, I think it made more sense if they left it alone. Starfy, Stafy? Does it really matter? Here’s a commercial of the game.

      it’s a cute game. you can even play mini-games with someone using the wireless download feature if you don’t have a copy of the game itself :) or play in 2-player mode using the wireless also.

    Oh, weird, I never knew that ‘Stafy’ was a character from Super Smash Brothers … My brothers even thought Starfy was a Kirby rip off!

    Still though, I wish I had a DS to play the game … I love platform games, and it looks really fun. ^^;

      yep. in brawl, whether he’s my assist or not, i normally kick him out which i think is kind of hilarious. same with pit’s little angel-helper-friends, i attack them whenever he does his smash attack lmao.
