My name is Kressa; I’m an avid gamer, blogger, fellow-foodie, and lover of cute things. While I have a B.S. in Computer Graphics & New Media, my real passion is music. I played violin and was in orchestra since fifth grade and much of high school. My illustrations and other artwork are inspired by Japanese pop culture, anime, manga, and adorable characters. I’m also fluent in several languages.

So why is the website called, kmendaros.com? This was originally supposed to be just a portfolio-based site featuring artworks and fan arts I’ve done over the years and recent material as well. I opened the domain up in 2007, but wasn’t too comfortable coming back to a Web that I had changed so much—especially when it came to coding. I kind of slacked off a bit when I was Basic and Advanced Web, PHP kind of turned me off—I was definitely an old-school hand-coder. I’ve always been a blogger since I started dabbling into the world of HTML and CSS back in the early 2000s, thanks to @rahrahrawrs who suggested it to me. That’s how I got into coding and drawing even more while I continued to play music. I’m still very active around the Web, but you’ll just have to check out my Links and find out where else you can find me these days.

Aside from blogging, coding, drawing, and playing music I like photography, web surfing on StumbleUpon for inspirations, and playing video games. I like old-school Nintendo games and modern-day games for console, iOS, and hand-held consoles. A die-hard fan of Kingdom Hearts, RPGs, Professor Layton, Sonic, and Mario games. Studio Ghibli, Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, Koge-Donbo*, Adventure Time, Marvel, and DC are cool in my book too.
