[BLOG] Well That Was Excruciating
It’s Super Bowl Sunday and the Giants v. Patriots game is now all over—congrats to the Giants for another win. Figures after the coin toss, I’d get it right and New England chokes in the end . The Half time show was okay, commercials were kind of ‘meh’ and the only thing I was excited for were the movie trailers: Read More
[FOOD] Just No
Sometimes the Internet is both a blessing and a curse at the same time, I think. We can find all sorts of information, communicate with each other much faster than ever, and do more things with it than ever before. But there are some things, you can’t unsee 1 with your own two eyes . Such as this geek-tastic mess brought to you by the French 2. It’s definitely great marketing on their part, but man, I don’t know about the looks... Read More
[WEB] It’s November Again
And you know what that means! Christmas-everything is on sale right now (if not, soon). From trees, decorations, cards, and that lovely block of yuck you see in the stores—fruit cake . I think as the years go by, the more I cringe at how much sugar it has in it. Aside from Thanksgiving and Black Friday (because you know, that’s when all the crazies come out to really do their bargain shopping for all the fun, nifty, little things we want—even... Read More
[MOVIES] What’s Your Number?
I went to see this movie on Friday with @ella07111 since we haven’t hung out with each other in some time—we figured we’d go see this. As it turns out, the movie wasn’t the problem, but the “dude in the booth” as I called him (or her). About halfway through the movie where Ally comes back from a disastrous meet with an ex, she (Anna Faris) and Colin (Chris Evans) face off before jumping into the Boston Harbor in... Read More
[GAMING NEWS] LMAO And Not Sorry For It
This is probably the most laughable thing that’s happened since yesterday. For anyone that’s kept up with the news around here about banning the rights to sell or lease violent video games to minors is first off, STUPID. Where’s your common sense here people? Politicians who put blame on the gaming industry obviously isn’t looking in the right direction as who is to blame. Really? Parents are supposed to be the ones who teach... Read More
[GAMING NEWS] Sony Can’t Get A Break
According to Eurogamer and G4TV, it looks like Sony’s reset password system for the Playstation Network has been compromised by hackers. Given by the fact that you have to enter personal information to access the site and provide your email in the process. Since much of the PSN community were affected last month, the use of personal information and email are already known. Supposedly the best thing to do is to change the email address in use... [GAMING NEWS] The Playstation Network’s Back Up
Are you excited? Eh . It’s been slowly, but surely coming back online in North America, but I wasn’t jumping for joy when it did. Yesterday I decided to log into my account and edit any information I had that was necessary since last month’s attack. Not to go off-topic, but why do all the crazy things happen when I’m not in the country?! Anyway, I turned on the good ol’ PS3 and of course I had to do the system updates... Read More
[GAMING] Epic Mickey – Review
I was actually looking forward to playing Disney’s Epic Mickey but once I got to Lonesome Manor, it became a nightmare . Trying to defeat your enemies with Thinner or Paint—I get. But having to aim at them while you’re standing on a box or platform above them and still missing? I didn’t like that. You’re already pointing with the Wii remote—but how he still misses and the target isn’t turning red (at close... Read More
[IMO] Pocky Still Wins
This goes in my NEVER-BUY-AGAIN section. I thought it would taste great just because I love anything coffee-flavored and I love the snacks by Meiji but this left a horrible coffee after-taste in the back of my throat  Not only that, the cracker wasn’t anywhere near as good as Pocky’s. I was very disappointed I even bothered to buy this. Waste of money! Maybe I should have just gotten the chocolate one or the strawberry one. Better... Read More
How Exciting!
Well I learned something new today—other than being able to connect my old Twitter Tools with the new Twitter API settings now, I’ve learned about using Twitter @anywhere. It’s probably not new to most web developers and bloggers out there, but for me, it is. So rock on, Twitter! I think you just got cooler for integrating this feature. Does Facebook have one? I get lazy signing on to their site @kressaM: I’m testing out... Read More
[GAMES] Do I Care for the Playstation MOVE?
Not really. I’m not all that enthusiastic for its release tomorrow out to the general market. All I see is a giant, bright, lollipop on a stick. Or items to collect in games like Kingdom Hearts or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (anyone else play that one before? The giant glowing Gobstoppers in the game). The games I’ve seen so far remind me too much of the Wii-based games it started out with (Wii Sports and other related-titles) and... Read More
[WEB] Revisiting Plurk
I don’t know why all of a sudden I had the need to check out my Plurk account, but I did. Not everyone I know is using the service and I just kind of forgot all about it. I know it’s on sidebar, but it never crosses my mind, if ever. After looking at it I see that my Karma points are back down all the way to zero. Why bother? So here’s my question: Are there any websites or social networking sites you can or can’t live with... Read More
